Low-Calorie Frozen Yogurt Strawberry Cheesecake Bites

  • Author: Saly
  • Total Time: 4 hours 20 minutes
  • Yield: 24 servings 1x

Description

These guilt-free frozen yogurt bites offer the creamy, tangy taste of cheesecake with a fraction of the calories. Made with Greek yogurt, cream cheese, and fresh strawberries, they require no baking and are perfect for meal prep or a quick healthy dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (240g) full-fat plain Greek yogurt
  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 23 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and diced
  • 2 tablespoons low-sugar or no-sugar-added strawberry jam
  • 1/2 cup (50g) graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • Optional: 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips for dipping

Instructions

  1. Mix the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter until the texture resembles wet sand.
  2. Press a thin layer of the crumb mixture into the bottom of each cup in a mini muffin pan (24-cup). Set aside.
  3. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and lump-free.
  4. Add the Greek yogurt, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese. Mix until combined and smooth, being careful not to overmix.
  5. Divide the cheesecake mixture evenly among the crust-lined cups (about 24 bites).
  6. Swirl the strawberry jam into the top of each bite or press diced strawberries into the top for decoration.
  7. Place the pan in the freezer and freeze for at least 4 hours, or overnight, until rock solid.
  8. Once frozen, pop the bites out of the pan or molds. Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 3 months.
  9. Let sit at room temperature for 5 minutes before serving to soften slightly for a creamy texture.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is fully softened to avoid lumps. Pat strawberries dry to prevent icy texture. For a dairy-free version, use dairy-free yogurt and cream cheese, and coconut oil instead of butter. For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free graham crackers.
