Description
A quick and refreshing tropical smoothie made with frozen mango, pineapple, Greek yogurt, orange juice, and a touch of honey or maple syrup. Perfect for hot days and easy to make with just five ingredients.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ½ cups (225g) frozen mango chunks
- 1 cup (150g) frozen pineapple chunks (unsweetened)
- ½ cup (120g) plain full-fat Greek yogurt (or non-dairy yogurt for dairy-free)
- ¾ cup (180ml) fresh-squeezed orange juice
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) honey or maple syrup (optional)
Instructions
- Measure and prepare ingredients: Grab frozen mango and pineapple from the freezer. Measure Greek yogurt and orange juice. Break up any large clumps of frozen fruit.
- Blend the fruit and liquids: Combine mango, pineapple, Greek yogurt, and orange juice in blender. Blend on high for about 30 seconds until smooth but thick.
- Sweeten and adjust consistency: Add honey or maple syrup and blend briefly to mix. If too thick, add more orange juice or water. If too thin, add more frozen mango or ice.
- Check taste and texture: Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness with more honey or juice as needed.
- Serve immediately: Pour into glass or travel cup and enjoy fresh for best creamy, cold texture.
Notes
Use frozen fruit only for best icy texture. Adjust sweetness last to avoid over-sweetening. Serve immediately for best texture. Pulse blend if blender struggles with frozen chunks. Variations include adding greens, protein powder, or swapping yogurt for coconut cream.
